·BSc essential; post-graduate qualification highly desirable

·Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects in the biopharmaceutical or related industries.

·Experience of managing 3rd party out-source software development.
·Knowledge of developing scientific software tools and in the use of outsourced development.
·Experience with antibody-based drug discovery is particularly desirable

Ability to write documents suitable for different stakeholders including executive-level decision-making
·Develop a deep knowledge of the software platform to allow effective communication with stakeholders (both internal and external).
·Plan, monitor, actively manage and drive to completion - interrelated R&D software, documentation, quality enhancement and collaboration projects.
·Define project timelines based on understanding of project goals and company and 3rd party resources and using judgement and expertise drive a realistic and achievable delivery schedule.
·Build project and/or programme budgets, establish appropriate monitoring, actively identify variances, risks and issues, escalate as appropriate
·Build and maintain effective working relationships with key groups and stakeholders for projects (e.g. company Technology R&D, core teams, HR, legal, finance and Business Development) and contribute to bidirectional exchange of information to ensure projects receive the support required from these groups to progress.
·Create and maintain project risk registers and monitor these - proposing mitigation options or escalate, as appropriate, to minimise and mitigate these risks.
·Ensure project reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders are fulfilled. Where necessary, define and design reporting.
·Organise, lead and guide team / joint steering committee meetings to ensure effective communication, timely decision making and delivery. Minuting actions and commitments as necessary to ensure these are completed on schedule and within budget.
·Develop and maintain positive collaborative/facilitative relationships with peers, Senior Management, Executive Management and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
·Identify and document lessons learned from each project, and actively disseminate to promote learning across the organisation.
·Become proficient in software concepts and functionality to facilitate effective interaction with, and support, software systems analysts, quality and documentation staff in developing and communicating new capabilities.
·Work with the Senior Director Project Management and other project managers to develop KPIs and reports to facilitate joint steering committees and executive decision making.
·Contribute to identifying resource constraints and conflicts at the project and support the organisation to resolve conflicts.
·Support the goal of embedding a consistent project management approach and tools across the company.
·Support the organisation through periods of change by remaining adaptable to an evolving project management process and organisational structure to meet the needs of the business.
·Maintain active and current knowledge of company policies and procedures, quality standards, relevant ethical frameworks and regulations, and ensure compliance.
