π Job Description
1. Payroll & Benefits Management
You will manage the end-to-end payroll and benefits administration for one or more business units based in Belgium. Your key responsibilities include:
Collecting and processing monthly payroll data via Workday and eBlox
Handling payroll for expatriates in collaboration with external tax advisors and the Rewards team
Performing quality assurance through 4-eyes checks on payroll entries submitted by peers
Providing necessary social documents to employees (e.g., DRS, C4)
Coordinating with insurance providers for employee leaves (maternity, paternity, illness, etc.)
Ensuring timely completion of payroll tasks in close coordination with the team
2. Employee Support & Liaison
Serve as the point of contact for employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and social law
Maintain and update relevant information on the HR intranet for easy employee access
3. HR Projects
Contribute to ad-hoc HR initiatives such as early retirement programs and requests from the works council
4. Social Legislation & Compliance
Provide expert guidance on Belgian payroll and social legislation matters
Liaise with governmental bodies and social security institutions
Stay abreast of legal developments and ensure compliance across processes
Propose improvements to existing policies and workflows to reflect regulatory changes
β Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 10 years in payroll, HR consulting, or HR analysis
Languages:
Fluent in French or Dutch
Good command of the other national language
Excellent English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading)

Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Belgian employment law, particularly Joint Committee 200 (JC200)
