Network Operations Analyst Redhill

Our utility partner is looking for a Network Operations Analyst to work in the Redhill office.

The role includes aiding in planning, coordination, and management of network operations, for repairs and operational network maintenance.
Your role is integral to creating the conditions that enables the Network Department to outperform its Performance Commitments.
Working closely with the Network Strategy Manager and the Network Strategy Team you will provide analytical and modelling support on projects to help plan
strategic improvements to the network.

Network Operations Analyst responsibilities

*Ensuring compliance and attainment of regulatory, operational, and financial targets and for achieving our Performance Commitments.
*Monitoring and analysis of the Company's performance against levels of service standards and PC's relating to the Networks Operations.
*Assessing the impact of interruptions to network supply using modelling to assist with the development of plans to minimise the impact of planned and unplanned works.
*Provision of network modelling advice to facilitate operational decisions, assist with developer enquiries and on strategic projects
*Assisting with preparation of the infrastructure and operational aspects of Regulatory Reports and Annual Returns.

About you

*Educated to degree level in a STEM subject
*Full driving license.
*Understanding of data analysis principles
*Knowledge of the Water Industry and the management of water distribution networks.
*Health and Safety Training (Manual Handling, Confined Space Awareness).
*Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Company Job Control System, Customer Contact and Billing Software, GIS mapping systems, other bespoke software e.g.).
*Knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures (Network Operating Manual, Company Sampling Manual, Emergency Procedures Manual).
*Strong prioritisation skills and ability to effectively manage own and workload of team.
*Ability to make effective decisions within established procedures.
*Ability to formulate, justify and implement procedural requirements.
*Excellent report writing skills
