Service Description:We are looking for a motivated and experienced PowerBI Support Specialist (H&S/Assets) to focus on backend PowerBI support, documentation, and Health & Safety (H&S) and MAC (Management Aided by Computer) application support. The specialist will track and implement bug fixes and new developments while preparing H&S dashboards for industrialization.
Key Responsibilities:
PowerBI Development and Optimization:
Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI dashboards tailored to business needs.
Optimize data models and workflows to enhance performance and efficiency.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for PowerBI solutions.
Develop best practices and procedural guides for internal teams.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support and guidance on MAC and H&S applications.
Proactively track, follow up, and resolve incidents and service requests.
Bug Fixes and New Developments:
Identify, track, and resolve bugs in H&S dashboards.
Implement new features and functionalities in existing dashboards.
Industrial Preparation:
Prepare H&S dashboards for industrialization, ensuring adaptability to various source systems.
Collaborate with team members to develop scalable and flexible structural solutions.
Evaluate industrialization solutions to meet flexibility, scalability, and adaptability requirements.
Collaboration, Communication, and Requirement Gathering:
Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure PowerBI solutions align with business objectives.
Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Review existing dashboards regularly, automating updates and key performance indicators (KPIs) for teams (Assets Team, Team Cockpit, H&S reports).
Process Improvements:
Identify opportunities to optimize processes using Power BI and Power Apps.
Suggest and implement changes to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Backup PowerBI Support (H&S/Assets):
Collaborate closely with a counterpart Power BI developer to provide backup support for MAC and H&S-related Power BI operations.
Ensure seamless alignment and service continuity when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Information, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience with PowerBI, including backend (database and semantic models).
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with H&S dashboards and MAC is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
Proficiency in documentation and maintaining technical records.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
