Key responsibilities in the role include:
-Leading the function (motivate, inspire, build credibility)
-Developing new strategic supplier relationships
-Undertaking a comprehensive supplier review
-Contract / commercial negotiation responsibility
-Full ownership of price negotiation
-Inventory Management, Materials Management
-Working closely with technical teams on projects and future demands
-Developing reporting & systems
-Introducing new best practice into the organisation, coaching non-commercial staff
Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
