๐ผ About the Role: Telecom Project Engineer
Our client is seeking a motivated Telecom Project Engineer to support high-voltage infrastructure projects, particularly the telecom aspects tied to the construction, expansion, and modification of substations (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV).
This role is ideal for medior profiles with 1-2 years of experience, though junior profiles will also be considered as training will be provided.

Dutch fluency is preferred over French
Senior or expert-level candidates are not sought for this role
๐ง Key Skills and Profile Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years in telecom or similar engineering projects
Education: Master's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (Civil or Industrial)
Languages: Dutch (preferred), French (optional)

๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
As a Telecom Project Engineer, you will contribute to approximately 20 simultaneous projects, supporting them from design through to commissioning and administrative closure. Your responsibilities will include:
Defining project requirements and translating them into technical telecom specifications
Drafting the Telecom Project Note, a key reference for procurement and execution
Conducting feasibility studies and preparing budget estimates
Collaborating with:
Design teams to develop detailed telecom plans
Construction and commissioning teams to ensure proper implementation
Infrastructure project leaders to provide updates and coordination
Supporting the overall project leader with multidisciplinary planning
Working closely with telecom infrastructure managers to define and document appropriate solutions
Participating in:
Development of new telecom concepts and frameworks
Pilot projects to validate telecom solutions and tools
Cross-functional discussions with the expertise department and backbone telecom team
