Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with a strong focus on security to join the Engineering Chapter Team within the Consumer Centricity organization. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of architectural leadership, hands-on implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your mission: design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions with an emphasis on integrating security throughout the development, deployment, and operations lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture: Design secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructures aligned with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2).
Cloud Governance: Implement cloud security policies using Azure Policy, Defender, Management Groups, and Blueprints.
IAM: Manage secure identity and access controls using Azure Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and Conditional Access Policies.
Data Protection: Ensure encryption and secure key management via Azure Key Vault and Azure Disk Encryption.
DevSecOps & Automation: Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, SonarQube, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
Security Monitoring & Response: Leverage Azure Sentinel, Azure Monitor, and Defender for automated threat detection and response.
Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data and services.
Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud costs and implement strategies to maintain cost efficiency without compromising security.
Risk Management: Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, propose mitigation plans, and lead incident response activities.
Collaboration: Act as a security mentor and advisor across DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams.
Documentation: Maintain detailed security architecture and compliance documentation.
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in cloud security, architecture, or DevSecOps.
3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
Solid understanding of:
Azure services (Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall)
Azure IAM (Entra ID, PIM, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access)
Cloud networking (VPN, subnets, NSGs, load balancing, hub-spoke)
Experience with:
CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
Containerization (AKS, Docker)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
Scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python)
Cloud security compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2)
Proficient in English (C1)

Certifications:
Microsoft: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Security Engineer Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert
Security: CISSP, CCSP, CISM
Experience with: Kong, Event Hubs, Dapr
Languages: French (B1), Dutch (B1)
Open to 24/7 duty rotation
